Within minutes, Richard's phone began vibrating nonstop.
One call after another.
His investors.
His board members.
His largest client.
News of the incident had already spread across social media after dozens of guests uploaded videos from the gala.
The executive stepped beside him.
"I'm afraid your company's lease inside this tower has been terminated, effective immediately."
Richard stared in disbelief.
"You can't do that!"
The executive calmly handed him a folder.
"The lease includes a morality clause."
"Public conduct that damages the reputation of the property allows immediate cancellation."
Richard's knees nearly gave out.
