The verdict came quickly.
Vanessa was convicted on multiple charges related to the attack.
Richard lost control of Harrington Commercial Group after shareholders voted to remove him.
Their mansion was sold.
Their marriage officially ended.
Months later...
Khloe walked through a quiet neighborhood park holding her daughter's tiny hand.
The scars remained.
But so did hope.
Harrison watched them from a nearby bench.
His niece laughed as she chased butterflies across the grass.
Khloe smiled at her brother.
"You kept your promise."
Harrison looked toward the sunset.
"When Mom asked me to protect you..."
"I thought it meant standing beside you."
He smiled softly.
"Now I know it means helping you stand on your own."
Khloe squeezed his hand.
