Chapter 2: The Courtroom Hunter

By sunrise, every airport, marina, and private airfield had received emergency court orders freezing the Harrington family's assets.

Richard arrived at his private hangar expecting to board his Gulfstream.

Instead, he found FBI agents waiting beside the aircraft.

His passport had been revoked.

His accounts had been frozen.

Every luxury vehicle owned through his shell companies had already been seized.

Standing several yards away was Harrison.

Hands in his pockets.

Expression unreadable.

Richard forced a smile.

"You've got nothing that proves criminal intent."

Harrison slowly handed him a folder.

"I don't need intent."

Richard opened it.

Inside were wire transfers.

Hidden ledgers.

Forged board resolutions.

Tax fraud.

Insurance fraud.

Money laundering.

And finally...

A signed affidavit from Vanessa's former accountant.

Richard's face drained of color.

"You've been watching me."

Harrison answered calmly.

"No."

"You've been underestimating my family."

At that exact moment, federal agents placed Richard in handcuffs.
