Twenty minutes later, the entire family sat in Daniel's home office.
The footage played on a seventy-inch monitor.
No one spoke.
Every slap.
Every insult.
Every cruel word.
Every knot Victoria tied around Emily's wrists.
Every second had been recorded.
When Victoria coldly said...
"Your son will die... and you'll still be sitting here rocking mine."
Daniel's father lowered his head in disbelief.
His mother quietly covered her mouth.
Emily sobbed silently beside them.
Victoria suddenly stood.
"This proves nothing!"
Daniel paused the video.
Then rewound one final scene.
Victoria leaned over Emily and whispered something she never expected anyone else to hear.
"I married Daniel for his company."
