Six months later, life looked completely different.
Victoria accepted a plea agreement and received a prison sentence for assault, unlawful imprisonment, and financial crimes.
Emily's son recovered after receiving the treatment he desperately needed.
When she returned to work, it wasn't as an employee.
She became our family's full-time childcare manager with better pay, health insurance, and flexible hours so she could always be with her son when he needed her.

I watched them from the porch.

"No."
