Chapter 2: The Secret Buried for Two Years

That night Logan canceled the celebration.

Guests left whispering.

Vanessa was furious.

But Logan didn't care.

He ordered a private investigation before sunrise.

By noon the next day, shocking information began to surface.

The records surrounding Olivia's death were incomplete.

Hospital signatures didn't match.

Several documents had been altered.

One nurse had disappeared shortly after the birth.

And then came the biggest discovery.

Olivia had never been buried.

The grave contained an empty coffin.

Logan felt sick.

Someone had lied to him.

Someone had stolen two years of truth.

Meanwhile, Emma sat in the mansion's garden holding Noah in her lap.

For the first time in his life, the little boy looked completely peaceful.

He smiled.

He laughed.

He even spoke a few simple words.

The therapists were stunned.

When Logan arrived, Emma finally revealed something she had hidden.

Years ago she had suffered a serious accident.

She had lost much of her memory.

Recently, fragments had begun returning.

Faces.

Voices.

A newborn baby's cry.

And Logan.

Then she opened the silver locket.

Inside was a tiny photograph.

Logan and Olivia.

Emma's hands trembled.

"I don't know how to explain this," she whispered.

"But every time I look at this picture... I remember being her."

Logan stared at her.

The impossible truth slowly unfolded.

Olivia hadn't died.

She had survived.

After the accident, she had lost her memory and disappeared from everyone's life.

And somehow, fate had brought her back into Noah's world.

The little boy had recognized his mother before anyone else could.
