Chapter 1: The Evidence in His Pocket
Silence swallowed the harbor.
The billionaire's hand froze on the polished railing of the yacht.
His wife could barely breathe.
The eight-year-old boy slowly reached into his torn pocket and unfolded a small, waterproof plastic sleeve.
Inside was a black memory card.
"I found it after the explosion," the boy whispered.
The woman's eyes widened.
"No..."
She took one instinctive step backward.
The billionaire noticed.
It was the first crack in the perfect composure his wife had worn for years.
"What is on that card?" he asked quietly.
The boy swallowed.
"I was cleaning the engine room yesterday."
"I heard someone come aboard after everyone left."
"I hid because I was scared."
He looked directly at the woman.
"She didn't know I was there."
The guards stopped moving.
Every dockworker nearby listened in complete silence.
The billionaire accepted the memory card.
His wife suddenly lunged toward the boy.
"He's lying!"
But before she could reach him, two security guards stepped between them.
The billionaire's expression hardened.
"Nobody touches this child."
He handed the memory card to his chief of security.
"Play it."
Seconds later...
The marina office monitor flickered to life.
Grainy security footage appeared.
The woman in the golden dress quietly entered the yacht alone.
She looked around carefully.
Then disappeared below deck.
When she emerged...

She was carrying an empty toolbox.
The entire harbor fell silent.
