Chapter 3: The Trial Everyone Watched

The courtroom was packed.
News crews lined the hallways.
The surveillance footage played once more before the judge.
This time...
There was nowhere to hide.
The prosecution revealed financial records proving the woman in crimson had bribed employees, destroyed documents, and attempted to forge ownership papers for the estate.
Former servants testified one after another.
Each revealed years of intimidation and abuse.
The defense slowly collapsed.
Finally, the judge spoke.
"The defendant acted with deliberate cruelty toward a vulnerable pregnant woman for financial gain."
The courtroom fell silent.
"I hereby sentence you to twelve years in state prison."
The woman in crimson screamed as deputies escorted her away.
No one felt sympathy.
Not after seeing the truth.
Outside the courthouse, reporters surrounded the family.
The man answered only one question.
"What matters now isn't revenge."
May you like
"It's my wife."
"And our child."
