That evening, Alejandro invited the entire Aranda family to dinner.
Doña Esther arrived smiling elegantly.
Marcela followed beside her, carrying expensive flowers as if nothing had happened.
Valeria remained upstairs under medical supervision.
Dinner began quietly.
Then Alejandro placed the leather journal on the table.
Nobody spoke.
He slid several medical photographs across the polished wood.
Doña Esther's smile disappeared.
Marcela's face turned white.
"What is this?" Esther asked.
Alejandro looked directly into her eyes.
"The evidence."
Silence consumed the room.
"I know about the beatings."
No one answered.
"I know about the forged documents."
Marcela's hands started shaking.
"And I restored the deleted security footage."
For the first time in years...
Doña Esther looked afraid.
Alejandro pressed a button on the remote.
The television behind them came alive.
Video after video filled the screen.
Marcela shoving Valeria against a marble wall.
Esther slapping her across the face.
Both women threatening her while she desperately protected her pregnant belly.
The room became unbearably quiet.
Then Alejandro asked only one question.
