Vanessa refused to accept defeat.
The next morning she appeared outside Evelyn's headquarters with attorneys and television cameras.
She accused Evelyn of fraud, manipulation, and hiding corporate ownership.
Within an hour, Arthur entered the press conference carrying several archive boxes.
Every document was authenticated.
Every transfer had been legally recorded.
Every tax payment had been properly filed.
Then Arthur displayed one final document.
It was signed by Vanessa herself.
Years earlier, she had unknowingly agreed to a confidentiality clause while joining Adrian's executive team.
She had acknowledged that Evelyn Hart was the controlling owner of the parent company.
