Chapter 3: A Christmas Worth Remembering

Three months later...
Jimena pleaded guilty to financial fraud, child neglect, and embezzlement.
She was sentenced to prison and permanently barred from managing any assets belonging to the Santillán family.
The mansion changed completely.
The ballroom no longer hosted lavish parties.
It became a playroom filled with books, toys, music, and laughter.
Rosa returned as the girls' full-time guardian while Alejandro rearranged his entire business empire.
He sold two overseas projects.
Closed unnecessary offices.
And promised himself one thing.
No contract would ever matter more than his daughters again.
The following Christmas...
Snow drifted gently across the garden.
A huge table overflowed with roasted turkey, homemade cookies, warm bread, and steaming hot chocolate.
Four little girls ran through the house wearing matching red dresses.
Their cheeks were healthy.
Their laughter echoed through every hallway.
Alejandro knelt beside them as they opened their presents.
Valeria looked up and smiled.
"Daddy..."
"We don't have to hide our food anymore, do we?"
Alejandro pulled all four girls into his arms.
"Never again."
"You will always have a home where you are loved."
Outside, the Christmas lights shimmered across the mansion.
Inside, four little hearts finally understood what Christmas truly meant.
Not diamonds.
Not wealth.
Not luxury.
But a father who chose his children over everything else.
And that became the greatest gift any of them would ever receive.
