Marcus refused to believe what was happening.

"There has to be a mistake," he barked, slamming his useless key card against the office door again.

The light flashed red.

Access Denied.

His mistress stepped out of the presidential suite, still wearing Isabella's robe.

"Marcus... why won't the door open?"

Before he could answer, two security officers approached.

The same men who had greeted him every morning for five years.

One extended his hand politely.

"Mr. Marcus Reed, your management privileges have been revoked."

Marcus laughed.

"You work for me."

The older guard lowered his eyes.

"We never did, sir."

Silence.

The words hit harder than any punch.

The general manager walked over carrying a thick folder.

His hands trembled.

"The board instructed me to deliver these immediately."

Marcus snatched the documents.

The first page carried the Castle Hospitality Group seal.

The second carried Isabella's signature.

The third carried her father's.

Every share Marcus believed he owned had only been placed under his temporary authority after the marriage.

Outside the entrance, Isabella calmly watched black luxury cars arrive one after another.
