Chapter 2: The Wedding That Never Began

The chapel doors opened.
Three hundred guests rose to their feet.
The music swelled.
And Sophia stepped into the aisle wearing the most beautiful dress anyone had ever seen.
But there would be no wedding.
At the altar, Daniel stood perfectly still.
His father, Richard, sat in the front row beside Evelyn.
Neither man looked at the other.
Sophia reached the altar.
The officiant smiled.
"We are gathered here today—"
"Wait."
Daniel's voice echoed through the chapel.
The room fell silent.
Sophia's smile disappeared.
Daniel turned toward the guests.
"Before this ceremony begins, there's something everyone deserves to know."
A giant screen behind the altar suddenly lit up.
Confused murmurs spread through the crowd.
Richard immediately stood.
"Daniel, stop."
But it was too late.
The first photograph appeared.
Sophia and Richard entering a hotel together.
Another.
A private dinner.
Another.
A beach resort six months earlier.
Gasps filled the room.
Evelyn covered her mouth.
Sophia looked as if the floor had vanished beneath her feet.
Then came screenshots.
Hundreds of messages.
Love messages.
Promises.
Secret plans.
Two years of betrayal displayed before everyone.
The chapel exploded into chaos.
Richard rushed toward the screen.
"Turn it off!"
Daniel calmly picked up a remote.
"No."
Sophia burst into tears.
But Daniel's eyes remained cold.
For months he had waited for this moment.
Not for revenge.
For the truth.
And yet...
The biggest secret still hadn't been revealed.
Because the affair wasn't the reason he stopped the wedding.
May you like
It was something much worse.
And only Daniel knew what it was.
