The CEO spoke again.

"There is one more matter."

The ballroom screens suddenly came to life.

A confidential internal investigation began playing.

Security footage.

Financial records.

Private emails.

Every betrayal appeared before hundreds of witnesses.

The ex-fiancé had secretly transferred company contracts to shell corporations controlled by the mistress.

Millions of dollars had disappeared.

Then came another recording.

His voice.

"If I marry her, I get control of the remaining shares."

The ballroom erupted.

The mistress stumbled backward.

"No... that's edited!"

"It isn't," replied the company's legal director.

"The recordings were authenticated months ago."

The woman stood quietly.

"I discovered everything six months ago."

"I delayed exposing you because I wanted to know one thing."

She looked directly at him.

"If I lost everything..."

"Would you still choose me?"

He lowered his head.

Unable to answer.

Because everyone already knew the truth.

Security officers entered.

"Mr. Walker..."

"You are terminated effective immediately."

"Authorities have also issued warrants regarding financial fraud."

The mistress tried to run.

She never reached the door.

Outside...

Police officers were already waiting.

Handcuffs clicked shut.

The guests watched in complete silence.

Hours earlier...

Those same people had applauded the couple.
