Chapter 2: The Footage That Ended Every Lie

Marcus didn't rush to Isabella.
He didn't even speak.
His eyes remained fixed on Khloe, curled tightly around their unborn child on the marble floor.
"Call the trauma team," he ordered quietly.
Elaine immediately reached for her radio.
Within seconds, doctors and nurses flooded into the luxury suite.
As they carefully lifted Khloe onto a stretcher, she reached for Marcus's hand.
"Our baby..."
Marcus squeezed her fingers.
"I'm here."
She closed her eyes as they wheeled her toward the operating wing.
Only then did Marcus slowly turn toward Isabella.
She was already crying.
Perfectly.
"I'm telling you the truth," she sobbed. "She attacked me first. I only defended myself."
Marcus didn't answer.
Before he could speak, another voice echoed from the hallway.
"Nobody leaves."
A distinguished man in a charcoal suit walked into the room, his hospital executive badge catching the chandelier light.
Dr. William Carter.
Khloe's uncle.
His expression hardened the moment he saw the shattered crystal, the blood on the marble floor, and his unconscious niece disappearing down the hallway.
"What happened?"
Isabella immediately pointed after the stretcher.
"Your niece lost control. She tried to attack me."
Dr. Carter looked at her for only a second.
Then he looked toward the security camera mounted above the suite entrance.
"Good."
His voice remained calm.
"Every VIP suite records continuously."
The color drained from Isabella's face.
Marcus slowly lifted his head.
"You have the recording?"
Dr. Carter nodded.
May you like
"My security team is already downloading it."
For the first time that night, Isabella looked genuinely frightened.
