CHAPTER 3 — A NEW BEGINNING

Tears streamed down the father's face.

For the first time in years, he admitted everything.

“I was selfish,” he said. “I cared more about my reputation than my family.”

The guests watched in silence.

The fiancée slowly removed her engagement ring.

“You didn't just lie to me,” she said. “You stole a mother from her child.”

Then she walked away.

The father expected anger from his daughter.

Instead, the little girl reached for his hand.

“Can we be a family now?” she asked.

The question shattered what remained of his pride.

Weeks later, he publicly confessed the truth and apologized to the woman he had hurt.

It wasn't easy.

Trust took time.

Forgiveness took even longer.

But slowly, the family began healing.

One year later, the little girl walked into school holding both her mother's and father's hands.

She was no longer silent.

She laughed.

She talked.

She dreamed.

And every night before bed, she hugged her mother tightly and whispered the word that had changed everything:

May you like

“Mama.”

THE END.
