“Every night, he checks that little boy's room before going to sleep.”
The old man looked directly at the judge.
“I've seen fathers do less.”
The room fell silent.
Then something unexpected happened.
One by one, people stood.
A teacher.
A coach.
A local shop owner.
Each shared stories about Ethan's sacrifices.
The judge listened to every word.
Meanwhile, Noah stared at his brother with admiration.
