The Children's Spring Charity Ball welcomed hundreds of families.

News reporters lined the entrance.

Television cameras filled the ballroom.

Everyone had heard about the little girl who had danced on prosthetic legs.

When the orchestra began playing, she didn't enter alone.

She walked confidently beside the same boy who had first offered his hand.
