"Tom Homan shocks the White House with an unexpected announcement that even surprised Trump"

Tom Homan — President Donald Trump’s border czar — delivered a blunt and deeply personal message during an appearance on The Alex Marlow Show in Washington, D.C., explaining why he came out of retirement: to secure the southern border and save lives.

Speaking with Alex Marlow, Homan didn’t hold back. He warned of the human cost behind policies that encourage mass immigration — consequences he says are often ignored but devastatingly real.

Homan began his career with the U.S. Border Patrol in 1984 and later became the first official from the Department of Homeland Security to lead ICE.

Over decades, he built a reputation as a firm advocate for strict border enforcement.

According to Breitbart, he served under six presidents, starting with Ronald Reagan, and was long viewed as a nonpartisan figure.

But since returning to federal service, Homan has become one of the most targeted figures in the Trump administration. Critics of the administration’s immigration policies have launched relentless attacks against him.

When asked about the threats he faces daily, Homan responded without hesitation:
“I don’t care.”

He made his motivation clear:
“This is the second time I’ve come out of retirement for the president. When you know thousands of people are dying and you can help fix it — you don’t say no.”
