A new report claims that former U.S. Attorney General William Barr worked alongside Fani Willis in connection with the RICO case involving former President Donald Trump.
The allegations come from whistleblower Patrícia Lélis, who says Barr participated in behind-the-scenes meetings in Washington, D.C., aimed at shaping legal strategies tied to the Georgia election case. According to Lélis, these meetings included media figure Armstrong Williams and others.
Lélis, who worked for Williams’ public relations firm in 2021, claims she attended numerous meetings between 2021 and 2023. She says discussions focused on legal and media approaches connected to investigations following the 2020 election.
Documents she provided to Project Veritas reportedly include handwritten notes outlining conversations about potential prosecutions and public messaging strategies. One meeting in September 2021 allegedly included political commentator Shermichael Singleton, where participants discussed aligning media narratives with congressional investigations into January 6.
The notes also reference several individuals linked to those investigations, including Steve Bannon and Rudy Giuliani, among others.
Further claims describe a March 2022 meeting involving Barr, Willis, and special counsel Jack Smith, where potential legal actions related to Trump were discussed. Lélis alleges that Barr anticipated a federal search of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence months before it occurred.
According to additional notes, Barr later advised Willis to pursue racketeering (RICO) charges, describing them as complex and difficult to defend against in court.
Lélis also alleges that beyond legal coordination, there were efforts to influence public opinion through targeted media and social media messaging critical of Trump.
These claims have not been independently verified, and no official confirmation has been issued by the individuals involved.
